'I Hippy'

'I Hippy' created in 1992 stolen from an exhibition in 1996 at the Portobello Gold Pub, now registered with the stolen works register. This and other paintings had been exhibited in Switzerland in 1993.

The work may appear to be 'primitive' but is in respect of a free spirit and you would hardly expect it to be tempered! No doubt the attraction.This painting was one of 24 partner pieces shown in Laufenberg, Switzerland, Easter 1993.

I hope that for the sake of the mental and physical health of the viewer that you see something
liberating, free and uplifting in the spirit of 'flower power' in this image as I do...otherwise visiting the Dr may be a far cop..
















The pieces also related directly to the installation at Trinity Street Studios in 1994 of the 'Congregations'. The works were never originally intended to be exhibited alone.
